For deadline information click here. For information on adding a class click here. Drops and Withdrawals- Notifying the instructor or ceasing to attend class does not constitute an official drop or withdrawal.
- Changing from one section to another of the same class is considered both a drop and an add.
- Refunds are given for classes dropped during the refund period if procedures are followed. For more information, see the Refund Schedule and Calendar. The registration fee will not be refunded for a dropped class.
- A class dropped after the add/drop deadline is considered a withdrawal and therefore not entitled to a refund; it cannot be used to pay for a late add class.
To drop a class before the Add/Drop deadline: Note: Classes dropped before the Add/Drop deadline will not show on transcripts. - Submit a drop request online, using the Electronic Drop form
Or - Complete the Credit Course Change form available online or at the Continuing & Professional Education Records and Registration Office.

To withdraw from a class during the Withdrawal period:Note: Classes dropped during the Withdrawal period will show a grade of "DR" (graduate students) or "W" (undergraduate students) on the transcript. Graduate students: Complete a Graduate Late Add/Drop form , obtaining Instructor signature before submitting.
