In partnership with the National Writing Project — the nation’s premier initiative to improve writing in America — this advanced certificate gives you a strong grounding in writing and reflective teaching, as well as a framework for teaching across the curriculum. Following the project’s model of “teachers teaching teachers,” you and your colleagues work together with our award-winning faculty to develop and implement curriculum and share writing activities that work. Gain a deep understanding of literacy learning in a supportive, intimate atmosphere as you reflect on effective teacher practices, explore cutting-edge research, and develop your own writing in this model program that boasts proven, research-backed results.
