Refunds

Refund Schedule

The registration fee is non refundable. The only exception is if every class for which you register in a term is cancelled. The refund policy only covers class fees, not the registration fee.

Full Term Classes:

The refund policy applies to ALL classes dropped even if a student enrolls in a different class or different section of the same class to replace the dropped class.

* All refunds are based on calendar days from the first day of the term for full-term classes or the session for Summer Session classes. Summer Session I and Summer Session II classes are six weeks in length. The exact refund dates can be found on the CPE academic calendar for all full-term classes including summer and winter sessions.

*All refunds are based on calendar days from the first day of class for variable-length classes. Check information in the class listings for the exact dates for a specific class.

Registration fee: Nonrefundable unless a class is cancelled by Continuing & Professional Education.

If a class is cancelled: Full refund of class fee. Registration fee will be refunded if this is your only class for the term.

Workshops

Before the first meeting: 100% refund for official withdrawals.
After the first meeting: 50% refund for official withdrawals.
After the second meeting: No refund.

Workshops of three weeks or less: No refund unless the withdrawal is made before the first meeting day.

Registration fee: Nonrefundable unless a workshop is cancelled by Continuing & Professional Education.

If a workshop is cancelled: Full refund of workshop fee. Registration fee will be refunded if this is your only workshop for the term.

Online noncredit classes

50% refund until one week after the class begins except where otherwise noted.

If a class is cancelled: Full refund of class fee. Registration fee will be refunded if this is your only class for the term.
