Important Payment Information: You are no longer required to pay for credit classes at the time of registration. You will be billed directly by the university Bursar's Office. You will not be able to provide credit card information when submitting your registration online. Forms of payment accepted: Billing (via Bursar's Office), cash, check, money order, credit card, 3rd party billing. Paying with a credit card by mail or fax: Complete the appropriate section on the registration form. All credit card identifying numbers, credit card expiration date, and credit card holder’s signature must be included. Using a waiver: Submit your authorized waiver form by mail, by fax, or in person with your registration. The balance of class fees not covered by the waiver, as well as additional fees such as registration or curriculum fees can be paid at time of registration or billed through the Bursar's Office. Waivers cannot be applied retroactively. Nonpayment: Overdue bills may result in administrative withdrawal and referral to a collection agency, plus collection costs. Billing Information: Billing will be done through the UMass Amherst Bursar's Office. Your payment is due by the due date indicated on your bill. Your check, money order, cashier's check, certified check or traveler's check should be made payable to the University of Massachusetts. Put your name and student ID number on all checks, money orders, correspondence and documents. All payments must be made in US dollars. The Bursar's Office does not accept credit cards except through QuikPAY. QuikPAY payments may be made through SPIRE by following the "View/Pay Bill" link or online at: https://quikpayasp.com/umass/bursarbill/authorized.do.
