Continuing & Professional Education students may apply to transfer into the university. They are expected to meet the same criteria for admission as all other transfer applicants.

Does UMass Amherst accept many transfer students? Transfer students make up nearly one-third of the university’s undergraduate student body. They represent a variety of educational backgrounds and include community college and two-year college graduates, returning students, and students from four-year colleges and universities.
